Abstract of the Lecture:

The essence of the reign of White Terror is to force the offsprings of victims to side with the inflictors, by virtue of the long-term anti-communist domination, thereby to deflect the political belief. The result of white terror in the 1950s, Taiwan, thus, is to destroy the progressive thoughts in Taiwan, annihilate the social consciousness and social justice. The lecture is to historize the white terror in an attempt to supersede the historical tragedies of national separatism.
