Abstract of the Lecture:
The Classics literature could be divided into three major systems: Scriptures and their notes and commentaries, Five Classics and Four Books, and the auxiliary wing system. In the system, the secondary literature could be further divided, and “the tree ring structure” could be dissected. Classical Philology takes the Classics literature as the research object, which is not only the branch of traditional philology, but also the branch of traditional philology. The Classical Philology, Classics and the history of Classics are three in one, which are complementary to each other.
